On Thursday night, a pair of Thai men in traditional costumes appeared at Haiban Metro Station of line 5, next to the Asian Games Village. Many passersby were attracted by them and stayed to take photos.
One of the men operated a shadow-like puppet and spoke in a special voice, saying, "Cheer for Thailand! Cheer for China! I love Thailand. I love China."
In an interview, the man called Dakdae said he has attended three Olympic Games and three Asian Games, including those held Bangkok, Thailand; Pusan, Korea; Doha, Qatar. He had just finished watching the men's snooker competition between Thailand and the United Arab Emirates.
