Dayoo.com invites folks to participate in a two-day event that includes the countdown in the National Forest Park of Guanyin Mountain, with online stars and gourmet masters taking part. Participants can watch the sunrise atop Guanyin Mountain on the second day.
Guanyin Mountain has a long history, a quiet environment, beautiful scenery, fresh air, rare fowls and exotic animals. It is home to exquisite flowers and rare herbs, both on the mountain and across the surrounding plains. The park features winding ups and downs, natural waterfalls and a drop of 380 meters. You can have a bird's-eye view of Zhang panorama city and also overlook Huizhou, or marvel at the night lights of Shenzhen. You also can observe the world's largest granite statue of Guanyin Bodhisattva on the top of the mountain. The statue is 33 meters in height, weighing more than 3,000 tons, majestic, beautifully carved, elegant in style, and true to life.
The park is home to a 5,000-square meter International Convention and Exhibition Center. There’s also a large exhibition hall of 12,000 square meters with a stage of 600-square meters. It is a great place for various exhibitions and activities within the park. The Guanyinshan ancient museum is China's first museum of ancient trees. The museum and its collection are valued for its research and ornamentation. In recent years more than 60 old trees have been discovered, and the museum has been honored for its science education and its youth science and technology education.
