We are recruiting foreign contributors to complete the latest book in our series – Guangzhou Through Foreigners' Eyes. This year's edition focuses on the many roles that flowers play in the life of Guangzhou ( the "Flower City") and its residents.
If you were born in a garden city with blossoms in all four seasons, you are welcome to share your stories and compare your hometown with Guangzhou. We hope that the sub-tropical flowers which decorate our city can be found in your home city as well.
Maybe you have basked in flowery scenery with friends and lovers, or marveled at the Spring Flower Fair during the holiday season. Any unique experiences and encounters are welcome.
If you are involved in professions related to flowers, such as flower designer and grower or other more technical occupations like environmentalist and botanist, we would love to profile you and your job.
The book is scheduled to be published before October. The call for contributors will last for a couple of months. However, the sooner you act the better! Don't hesitate to email firstname.lastname@example.org and be sure to include your name, nationality and contact details, as well as whether you are interested in being a contributor or being profiled by our foreign writers. We look forward to your participation with us on this project!
