A promotional roadshow for the 2017 Fortune Global Forum landed in New York on March 13, highlighted by the showing of a video, “Guangzhou, Flower City in Bloom,” in Times Square. The forum will be held in Guangzhou later this year.
Guangzhou has 20 of China’s 609 billionaires, according to the Hurun Global Rich List 2017, an annual report on the world’s billionaires released this month by Hurun, a Shanghai-based media research firm.
Facilitated by the Chinese MOE, Guangdong provincial government, Guangzhou municipal government and SCUT, a new international campus of SCUT will be built in Guangzhou to advance high-level education and scientific research.
