Public Health

Progress in medical care and sanitation level was made. By the end of this year, there are 2,406 public health and medical treatment institutions, in which 183 are hospitals, 20 are disease prevention and control centers, 14 are hygiene supervision stations, 14 are women and children health Hospitals (institutes or stations). Good effect was achieved in disease prevention and control with efficient control to important infectious diseases and keeping of high rate for planned children immunity inoculation.

By the end of this year, the coverage for rural population enjoying social medical treatment subsidy is up to 69.62%. There are 97 community medical services centers and 107 communicty health care stations.
