Introduction of Culture in 2004

It has achieved new success.  Obtained 73 international or domestic professional literature or arts awards.  By the end of this year, there are 18 professional performance troupes of the city, 14 mass artistic centers or cultural centers at municipal,district（county）level held 89 exhibitions. There are 16 public libraries with one more than last year. There are 26 archives and 28 memorial museums holding 171 exhibitions or displays with visitors up to 4.048 million person-times.  Sponsored a series of international or domestic cultural exchange activities such as the 4th Jinzhong Award for China music, the 4th Ram City International Contonese Opera Festival, the 6th Jinshi Award for national acrobatics competition, the 9th Guangzhou International Arts Fair, etc..
