With its 72-year history, Quxiang Bakery is a traditional Cantonese brand which sells Mooncakes, chicken cakes and many other traditional snacks. Yesterday (Aug. 30th) the shop reopened on Shifu Lu and two additional branches are to open before the end of the year.

Covering only 20 square meters, the new bakery is much smaller than before, but still attracts locals with its delicious moon cakes wrapped in red and white paper. The brand is famous across south China. Mr. Li is an old customer and he told us, "I grew up eating cakes from this shop. They offer a taste of tradition and of childhood!"
