Crane Falls, Blocks Main Axis

At 6 o'clock yesterday morning (29th), a crane rolled over onto the street on Tianhe Dong Lu but fortunately there were no casualties. The accident happened when the crane was assembling a steel footbridge. The crane was extremely heavy and its 20-meter arm severely damaged a nearby building during the fall. Tianhe Dong Lu has been blocked for over 10 hours. The accident caused serious traffic jams on Huangpudadao Xi and the Gangding section of Zhongshandadao until 17:20.

The arm of the crane leaves a big hole on the second floor of the building.
