"About 60 to 70 percent of the soaked cars have now been sold on used car market." according to a person in charge of an automobile repair plant. He also said that "cars in such condition usually sell for 20 to 30 percent less than what they would normally fetch."

The employee added that "the owners usually decide to sell the cars, as it costs too much to repair them and they may still not be safe to drive."
