Guangzhou's first IMAX theater opened yesterday (Feb. 4) at the Science Center. Citizens now can enjoy the popular "Avatar" on the largest 3D screen in Asia, surely an unforgettable experience.
The screen is 29 meters in long and 22 meters high, that's approximately as high as a ten-storey building. Capable of seating 600 people, this 3D theater is the fourth one in Chinese mainland to use photographic film for 3D film projections.
Currently, "Avatar" is being continuously screened, attracting hundreds of movie-goers. The number of "Avatar" fans is such that a cap of 4 tickets per person has been imposed. Selling for 120RMB each, you'll have to book your tickets 3 days in advance.
