Nansha district is the southernmost point of Guangzhou and this is the 4th time the festival is held here.
The 11-day festival aims at promoting local fruits, delicacies and traditions. The event is supported by the government which organizes food tasting contests and provides visitors with free maps and discounts on various food items.
