Nansha Builds Top Yacht Club

A wharf for 300 yacht berths began construction in Guangzhou's Nansha district on October 12. The first 80 berths are expected to ready for use for the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games.

The yacht club is sponsored by the Hong Kong Fok Ying Tung Group with an investment of over 250 million Yuan. Located in the eastern Nansha district, the club faces Dongguan city and lies a mere 800 meters away from the Nansha Passenger Port. The 3,000 square meter resort will provide services including catering, business services, accommodation, as well as yacht repairs, fueling, and trainings. The club is intended to become a landmark of the Nansha district. Hong Kong licensed yachts will be permitted allowed to enter and park here.
