Conghua: Home to Biggest Wushu Base in South China

With the Yongxia Wushu Club of the Wushu Masters Association being established on the morning of June 28th, Guangzhou's Conghua is now home to the biggest Wushu base in South China and, a host of the popular CCTV game show – The Wushu Masters Competition.

Located at a vacation village in Wenquan Town, where the plan for an industrial zone was suspended as a protective measure for the Liuxi River, the Yongxia Wushu Base, said Ouyang Zhi, Secretary of Conghua Municipal Committee of the CPC, is expected to promote Wushu in Guangdong Province and an overall sports-related economy in Conghua with the financial support of the Yongya Wushu Club and through publicity of the CCTV program.
