Updated Beijing Time

Source: Lifeofguangzhou.com

Yesterday morning (June 11) a new batch of yellow public bicycles appeared at metro exit G on Tiyu Xi Lu, the first of their kind in Guangzhou. City dwellers can now enjoy the bicycle service by purchasing annual tickets for 360RMB, less than one Yuan per day.

More than 40 public bicycle kiosks like the one on Tiyu Xi Lu are to be built by the end of this year, with the number to increase to 100 by the 2010 Asian Games. The rental kiosks will be conveniently located near metro stations and BRT stops.
