Nansha Customs Opened, 24 Hours for Persevered Customs Clearance

On March 25th, Nansha Customs was officially established and started handling customs services. Following the establishment of Nansha Customs, the enterprises in Nansha District need no longer to travel the nearly 50 kilometers to Panyu District to handle the businesses of enterprises registration, process trade manual or tax deductions or exemptions. They can deal with the procedures at Nansha Customs so as to save costs and improve efficiency.
Nansha Customs was subordinate to Guangzhou Customs with Nansha under its jurisdiction. After the opening of Nansha Customs, the freight port would practice a working day policy of "5+2", promote the weekly 7X24-hour reserved customs clearance service and provide more convenience to the enterprises handling their customs clearance formalities at Nansha Customs. Nansha Customs would provide the development of the Nansha port area with seven service measures, including preliminary digital classifications, digital preliminarily examined prices, speedy customs clearance under electronic logistic supervision, online tax payments and filing for customs in advance, 24-hour reserved customs clearance and other convenient clearance measures. It would further advance the reform on the customs clearance in the area, actively promote preliminary cargo manifests and customs supervision models of "local declaration, Customs examination and release as well as mutual recognition of manifest receipt and improve further the terminal capability and logistic radiation capability."
Sources from Guangzhou Customs said that following its opening, Nansha Customs would address the business situations of customs transit with over 60 ports, and support the Nansha port area to develop sea transportation sub-routes. Its sea-land connection business covers the whole pan-Pearl River delta region and realizes in a real sense "Transmittable Transited". It actively launched the customs control and network systems, networked with the Nansha port area, further simplified customs formalities, save customs clearance costs, exert the "transit hub" role of the port area and enhance the radiation capability of the port.
