Design Contest for Licensed Asian Games Products Kicks off

On the morning of December 1st, a ceremony was held at the site of the Guangzhou International Design Week to mark the commencement of the design contest for licensed Asian Games Products and the unveiling of the results of the insignia design contest. According to the press release, the Guangzhou Asian Games would develop over 4,000 licensed products in 10 categories, which would be offered at 500 to 800 licensed outlets in large and medium-sized cities throughout the country.

The design contest was organized by the Beijing Jinyi Cultural Development Co., Ltd. under the auspices of the Guangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee. Prizes of RMB 50,000 and certificates of merit would be presented to the winners. Names of the authors of successful entries would also be printed on the final products or packages.
