US Adoptive Parents Seek Help for Leukemia Girl

"Hope you can help to find out her blood parents, brother or sister to save her life..."a letter from the US worried the staff of a children's welfare center in the Qingcheng district, Qingyuan city in the Guangdong province, Guangzhou Daily reports.

The girl with an English name "Linda" was born in around July, 2003 and soon abandoned. One year after she settled in the Qingcheng District Children's Welfare Center, she was adopted by a couple Mark Eiji Miyashita and Monica Lee Miyashita from Orrville, Ohio, US. She later followed them to the US and began her new life.

In a recent routine body check the lovely girl was diagnosed as acute leukemia. The couple exerted themselves to find fixed bone marrow. In a short time, they had tried thousands of samples in different countries but failed. Finally they wrote a letter asking help for bone marrow donotation from her blood family.

The couple said, they have purchased medical insurance for Linda in the US. They are willing to afford all the medical fees and other expenditures including her parents' on donating blood marrow in the US. They also hope that people who know the family or are willing to donate blood marrow can offer help.
