8 Bln Yuan Deals Signed at Guangzhou Fair 2008

The four-day Guangzhou Fair 2008 opened yesterday and attracted 58,000 participants at the first day. [More photos]





Over 40 governmental and commercial delegations from China’s 30 cities and aboard participated in the fair. Various forums, project signing ceremonies, press conferences, brands’ promotions and performances will be held during the fair.

It this session, agreements of 25 economic and trade projects between Guangzhou and friendship cities in China will be signed. The signing projects cover industries including infrastructure, electronic information, new-style construction materials, nonferrous metals, bio-pharmacy, energy, chemistry, real estate, finance, auto, light industry and crop farming. The total account reaches 79.65 billion yuan (11. 64 billion USD), including 29 million yuan of foreign fund.

The annual fair is straightly the 16th session since 1993. As a governmental famous brand of fair, it builds platform on the government affairs, economic and trade, and cultural exchange. Every year, new products and new high-tech are shown in the fair.
