2,561 Yuan a Month, Average Starting Salary for GZ Graduates

According to recent statistics, the average starting salary for graduates in Guangzhou is about 2,561 Yuan per month. At a growth rate of 9%, the salary ranks fourth nationwide.

Starting salaries for graduates differ from city to city. At 2,899 Yuan per month, Shanghai ranks highest in the nation. Graduates in Beijing start at about 2,699 Yuan per month, coming in at third. Guangzhou’s starting salary of approximately 2,561 Yuan is fourth nationwide while Nanjing claims the highest growth rate at 11%.

Graduates who work in the field of finance start out with the highest salaries at 2,725 Yuan per month, followed by those in high-tech industries, manufacturing and real estate.
