Life of Guangzhou - Pearl River Crossing, Are You Ready?

The annual Pearl River Crossing is coming! According to authorities, the event will take place on July 18 or 19, depending on water quality. 400 volunteers are under enrollment now.

This year marks the third anniversary of the Pearl River crossing. The swimming area will be arranged along the north bank of the Pearl River from the North Gate of Sun Yat-sen University to the Xinghai Concert Hall on Ersha Island.

The Guangzhou Environmental Protection Bureau checked water quality and announced that the Guangzhou section of the Pearl River is suitable for swimming, even cleaner than it was in the same period of last year.

A rehearsal will be held on July 12. Volunteers for reception, first aid, security and logistics management are needed at the rehearsal and during the event.
