According to China-based automotive portal Gasgoo.com, Honda and Guangzhou Auto's joint venture plant in the city of the same name has resumed production. The partners suspended manufacturing operations at the facility in Guangzhou after it suffered inundation when violent storms swept the area on 2 June.
The OEMs, which share two plants in southern China, have a combined annual production capacity of 360,000 vehicles with the Accord sedan, Odyssey minivan and Fit hatchback built there.
As yet, there is reportedly no statement from either Honda or Guangzhou Auto as to when full ramp up will be achieved.
