Vice directory of Guangdong Seismological Bureau Liang Gan tracked down the rumor that Guangzhou is to have a severe earthquake recently in the Dayoo Talk online TV program on Friday.

He said Guangzhou’s three basic earthquake emergency shelters separately located in Chen Clay Academy, Xiaogang Park and Dongfeng Park have been built. Some basic equipment and materials for living like tents, food, and medical materials are offered by the shelters. They are not just simply empty spaces for citizens, said Liang.
