On June 1, the Luogang district launched the "Work Safety Month" campaign launching the safe work education and publicity activities in preparation against potential derivative accidents that have occurred after an earthquake earlier in May. It was learned that the District is planning to build a top grade integrated work safety and emergency rescue training base in China which has been approved by the State Administration of Work Safety.

It is learned that after its completion, the project would make use of modern technology to carry out work safety training through computer simulations and practical operational training.

At present authorities are preparing the preliminary feasibility study reports. The construction period is scheduled to be completed within three years.
