Guangzhou Donates 56 mln USD to Earthquake Victims

The promised donations in Guangzhou have reached 405.5 million Yuan (56 mln USD ) as of 12pm on May 22, according to the Guangzhou Office to Help the Sichuan Quake Victims.

392 million has been transferred to the donation account and the remaining 14.946 million is to be transferred. Additionally, Guangzhou has sent rescue teams of 606 members in total to the Sichuan Earthquake Areas as of May 21st and set up the first  "Charity School for Psychological Rehabilitation" as well.
