Int'l Museum Day to Showcase This Saturday

The International Museum Day (IMD) will kick off in Guangzhou this Saturday and last till June 14th, China's Cultural Heritage Day.

IMD is to involve serial activities, including musical salon and puzzle competition.

Theme of the 2008 IMD is "Museums as Agents of Social Change and Development".

Feature of the 2008 IMD

The IMD is to commence at the Wu Xian Guan (Five Celestials Temple) in western downtown on May 17th .

The industrial museums are the highlights, such as the Guangdong Traditional Chinese Medicine Museum, Shennong Caotang Traditional Chinese Medicine Museum, Guangzhou Museum of Finance and Currency, Chen Li Ji Traditional Chinese Medicine Museum and Museum of History of Guangzhou Peiying Middle School.
