Public Advice Hot for Coming Change of Citywide Bus System

Updated Beijing Time

Source: lifeofguangzhou.com

Guangzhou government is to adjust its citywide bus system soon. Public attention and advice keep heated about it. Many call for more bus lines on outskirts.

Some issues top the concerns about the commutation change, according to a recent online poll to the published adjustment draft on www.dayoo.com, a Chinese city portal of Guangzhou. Over 20,000 pieces of advice have been collected.

The major concerns are:

1. To increase bus lines on outskirts (more than 50% votes),
2. To increasing bus shifts in rush hours and on holidays, and
3. To increase bus directions from a certain stop.

Minor concerns are:

1. Better connection of metro and bus, which is unexpected, and
2. Better distance setup between stops in rush and crowded roads.

These suggestions will be presented to the Guangzhou Traffic Committee.

The citywide communities investigations are about to be carried out by the committee, starting wth Jinsha Zhou on western outskirt today.

The committee will decide the outset date to change the city's bus system after the public investigations.
