South African Songs and Dance Intoxicate GZ Locals

On the night of April 8, a South African-featured soiree was presented at the five-star Garden Hotel, as one of the events celebrating a decade of diplomatic ties between China and South Africa.

Artists from the "Country of Diamonds" brought marvelous folk songs and dance performances to Guangzhou locals, and officials from consulates in Guangzhou.

The South Africa Week started in Guangzhou on April 7th with a series of events including a South African-featured banquet, commercial seminar, fashion show, wine tasting and shows of local art and music. After April 12, the celebrations will move to Shanghai, Beijing and Hong Kong.
