The closing ceremony of the Fourth Guangzhou Folk Customs Festival & Huangpu Boluodan Millennium Temple Fair (Miaohui) is followed by the first navigation of ancient leisure boat "South Sea God (Nanhaishen in Chinese)" on the Pearl River, a program that is the result of collaboration between Huangpu District and Guangzhou Ferry Company.

The route is an effective link of Huangpu Military Academy, and Port of Huangpu. It starts from the pier of Huangpu Military Academy and ends at the pier of Nanhai Temple, giving tourists a feel of culture-laden millennial Nanhai Temple, hustled Huangpu Port pier and the heroic Huangpu Military Academy.

During the Temple Fair, the special route of Pearl River Tour operates from 9:00 A.M. to 17:00 P.M. on a daily basis. Two boats bound for each other's direction kick off every half hour with 10 yuan for one way and 20 yuan for both ways. When the Temple Fair is over, Huangpu district is considering opening the special travel route from Nanhai Temple to Huangpu Military Academy.
