Chimelong Water Park to Become World's No. 1

By summer, 2008, the Chimelong Water Park will embrace a more glorious presence. A much newer, larger and more entertaining water park is under construction and it will become the world's largest water park. It is expected that the newly upgraded Chimelong Water Park will bring many more surprises to the world's tourists.

After upgrading and reconstruction, the park will have been expanded by about one third of its original size. After completion the total area of the park will exceed 300,000 meters becoming the world's largest and most advanced water entertainment paradise with the one with the most entertainment venues.

The overall design of Phase II of Chimelong Water Park has developed by Forrec, the world famous Canadian thematic park design company. The facilities and grounds area suitable for families and children are being expanded greatly.

This year Chimelong will also introduce the "Behemoth Bowl" designed and provided by ProSlide Technology Inc., the well-known world-leading water park operator, which was awarded the 2007 Golden Award as the "Best and Latest Water Entertainment Equipment". The ProSlide Behemoth Bowl will bring park clients a totally new slide experience and one completely different from all existing equipment.
