Life of Guangzhou - Shoes Markets to Be Integrated into China's Largest Trading Center

Liwan District Government of Guangzhou in South China plans to comprehensively renovate and group the cluster of 13 shoes wholesale markets in Zhanxi circle near the Guangzhou Railway Station this year.

Most of the markets are well-received in mainland China. They will be integrated to be China's largest shoes trading center by the approaches that:

*All the markets involved use one standard visual identity and one business name of "Zhanxi Xiecheng" (Zhanxi Shoes Mall);

*The road system around the markets will be improved and parking lots increased;

*A logistics center will be established for all the markets;

*A national center of shoes information and price data is to be set up.

These governmental efforts are aimed to make the place become a special business zone.

About the Zhanxi cluster of shoes wholesale markets

The cluster is the biggest business center of its kind in China. About 30% of the country's shoe exports are from this place.

All the markets in the circle have now become complementary in terms of merchandises though they went through year of malignant competitions before. Liwan District Government is to enhance their collective strength by resources integration.
