Running Time of MTR Line 3, 4 to Extend from Dec 28

From December 28, MTR lines 3 and 4 will been adjusted. According to the Metro Corporation, two terminals of the line 3, namely Guangzhou East Railway Station and Tianhe Couch Terminal, will close 40 minutes later than at present, and other stations will close 14 to 30 minutes later.

The number of metro passengers has rocketed since the launch of Line 3. By November, daily passengers had passed 347, 000. To save passengers' time, the corporation is also planning to compress the waiting time. At present the interval on Line 3 is 4 minutes and 2 seconds.
