Asian Games Posters Appear Today in Metro Stations

Posters for Dragon Boat Racing


Beginning November 26th, citizens will see posters for the 16 non-Olympic events scheduled for the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games at metro stations such as Haizhu Guangchang (Haizhu Square), Sanyuanli, Jiniantang (Memorial Hall), Xiaogang, and Kecun (Ke Village). More posters will be shown at the approximately 20 other stations within the week. The 16 non-Olympic events include: bowling, billiards, sports dance, dragon boat racing, golf, kabaddi, karate, roller sports, rugby, Sepak Takraw, squash, chess, Go, cricket, martial arts and soft tennis.

In early December light boxes for the Asian Games are to be installed at selected metro stations in Guangzhou. The designs for these posters have now been approved by the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA).
