Guangzhou Releases Salary Guide Scales for 2007

According to the Guangdong Provincial Labor and Social Security Office, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Huizhou and other six cities have released Salary Guide Scales for 2007. The average monthly salaries publicized by Guangzhou are RMB 2,058 for employees with a bachelor's degree, RMB 2,850 for master's degree holders and RMB 3,331 for doctoral degree holders. The average guiding salary for manual laborers is RMB 1,154 per month. Since last year the flourishing financial markets have enabled financial professionals gain a higher salary. The salary guide for financial professionals and technical staff indicates the average salary has reached RMB 6,101 per month.
