Designs for Nansha Stadium Publicized

Nansha Stadium, a sports venue for 2010 Asian Games, is to be constructed in Nansha district. Three designs, No 3, 4 and 6 were chosen from the six designs entered in a competition and were publicized on the internet for public opinions and suggestions.

The stadium to be located between Jiaomen Waterway, Humen expressway, Tanwei Bridge and Fenghuang Bridge will cover 23.1 hectares and is designed to seat an audience of 8,000 spectators. About RMB 400 million will be invested in the project and over RMB13 million on the design.
