Vice Mayor of Guangzhou Reports to OCA on Asian Games Preparation
The 51st OCA (Olympic Council of Asia) Executive Board Meeting was held on 29th October 2007 in Macao, China. Vice Mayor of Guangzhou and Executive Vice Secretary General of GAGOC Xu Ruisheng delivered the report of the 16th Asian Games' preparation to the board during the session.

President of OCA HE Sheikh Ahmad Al Fahad Al Sabah gave a far positive assessment to the efforts of GAGOC, and well appreciated the development notion of Guangzhou Asian Games Village.
According to the report, the Asian Games Village will be built beside Lianhua Mountain (Lotus Mountain) in Southern Guangzhou.
Besides, the Games promotion is getting further development. GAGOC successfully held press tours in Beijing, Seoul, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo, New Delhi, Bangkok and Colombo.
The Fun Run for Guangzhou Asian Games has been staged in Indonesia, Yemen, Kyrgyzstan, Japan and Macao.
