Guangzhou Metro has worked out a special China Import and Export Fair (CIEF) Operation Plan. Starting from October 15, 2007, 33 temporary ticket booths will be set up at the key stations of Metro Line 2. The Xingangxi Station may prolong the dwell time of the trains according to the passenger flow situations, and the Wanshengwei Station and Pahzou Station may dispatch ahead the trains

If a large passenger flow occurs, the four lines of Metro will mobilize the reserved trains to divert the passenger flow.

During the CIEF period, the Metro Company will set up a multi-language service counter respectively at Xingangdong Station and Yuexiu Park Station. In addition, the key stations under the direct impact of CIEF will set up 33 temporary ticket booths, including Yuexiu Park Station, Xingangdong Station, and Pazhou Station.

Also, the Metro Company printed 100,000 pamphlets and dispatched them to the hotels along its lines, and sold in advance the Yang Cheng Tong, a kind of stored value cards, or paper tickets to the merchants in need.
