Guangzhou Asian Games to Recruit 300,000 Volunteers

Invited by Guangzhou Organizing Committee of Asian Games (GAGOC), some of the staff of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG) held a lecture on volunteer experience in Guangzhou yesterday.

As of yesterday, more than 560,000 people had signed up to apply for Beijing Olympic volunteers, 17829 of them are from Guangdong.

Guangzhou Asian Games is expected to recruit 300,000 volunteers. 50,000 of them will provide services at sports venues, and another 30,000 will help in public places like airports, railway stations, metros and hotels.
