11-year-old Guangzhou Boy to talk to US Astronauts

Xiang Ziyue, 11, a pupil from No.1 Primary School at Tong Fu Zhong Road, has been selected to Nanjing City, eastern China, attending the Amateur Radio on the International Space Station Project (ARISS Project). He is going to talk to the astronauts by radio communication.

Xiang has won two golden medals in the national radio contests.



According to news release conference by the ARISS Project in Nanjing No. 3 Senior School, Xiang Ziyue is the youngest of 20 pupils attending the project. He is the only Guangdong pupil, too. Xiang will be the sixth one talking to the U.S astronauts.
