China Southern Opens Guangzhou-Phuket Direct Flight

China Southern Airlines, the biggest airline in China, now offers direct flights from Guangzhou to Phuket,Thailand, bringing more Chinese tourists during the green season.

The inaugural flight CZ 3051 arrived at the Phuket International Airport early yesterday morning when the passengers were welcomed by the Mr Santichai Uuah-jong-pradit, Deputy Governor for the Tourism Authority of Thailand along with China Southern Airline’s Chief executive.

The airline is offering 4 flights per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturday lasting until the 26th of October 2007. The direct flights services are expected to facilitate tourists and businesses travelers on both ends.
