Cooking Oil Price Goes Up in Guangzhou

The retailing price of soybean oil goes up by nearly 10% recently in Guangzhou, Guangdong, just after the rise of peanut oil price in early April.

In some supermarkets and stores here, several popular brands of cooking oil are tagged higher prices than before, such as Jin Long Yu, Ying Ma and Fu Lin Men.

The rise results from the increase of soybean cost and soybean oil price in international market, according to some inside source.
