Changzhou Island Bicycle Sightseeing Tour Launched

From yesterday, May 27, the bicycle riding path around the Changzhou Island was open to visitors. The path has a length of 10 kilometers, connecting most of the scenic areas around the island.

The 120 thousand-skm Changzhou Island, located in the Huangpu District in east Guangzhou, is famed for its natural and historic tourist attractions. Visitors to the island can pick up fresh fruits in the fruit garden, view the live plant fossil, Taxodiaceae, and visit the Shenjing Residence.

Huangpu Tourism Bureau plans to attract investment to build a four-star hotel and beer street. "More activities in Huangpu District will be organized on the island to promote its tourism, like a dragon boat competition and a bicycle riding competition." the director of the bureau said.
