The Ritz-Carlton to Open in Pearl River New City

On the eve of the 2010 Asian Games, Guangzhou is welcoming investment in its hospitality industry. In the coming two years, the number of star-level hotels will soar from 200 to 300, of which many are big names internationally.

After Shangri-La established its presence this March in Guangzhou, another well-known luxury hotel, the Ritz-Carlton, is expected to open to the public in October.
　　
The Ritz-Carlton Guangzhou Hotel is located in Pearl River New City, bordering the Guangdong Museum and the Guangzhou Opera Theatre and facing the Pazhou Exhibition Centre directly across the river. To the northwest of the hotel is the Twin Towers, the future symbol of the city.
