GZ's First "Full Employment Community" Campaign Launched

Guangzhou's first "Full Employment Community" campaign was launched in Jinhua Street of Liwan District on Wednesday, January 4.

The Taoyuan, Longqing and Xiaomei communities in Jinhua Street can claim that every registered resident with the ability to work has a job - and "Full Employment Community" certificates were awarded to recognize the achievement.

In an imaginative move, Jinhua Street office signed a contract with the local Yonghe Restaurant, to give priority to the community’s unemployed for restaurant vacancies in future.

The office plans to develop 90% of communities in the area to be fully employed by 2009.
