China Tennis Grand Prix to Be Held in Guangzhou

2006 China Tennis Grand Prix Cup, a year-ending finale for domestic players, will be staged in Guangzhou from December 14 to 20.

Two groups are included in the US$100,000-event - Challenge Group for top 16 non-national team players and Championship Group featuring national team athletes.

The top two finishers of the Challenge Group will elevate to the Championship for a chance to compete against the best players of the country. Grand Slam champions Zheng Jie and Yan Zi have confirmed their participation.

The tournament is organized by Chinese Tennis Association and sponsored by Guangzhou Tennis Association, Beijing International Group, Nu Skin, Sina.com, XDLONG, Nonfushanquan and Slazenger.

Tickets for the event are being distributed at ww.chinatennis.org.cn.
