Electric Bikes Prohibited From Roads

Electric bikes will be forbidden from traveling on roads, according to Guangzhou Bureau of Public Security. A document specifying the ban in Guangzhou (including Conghua city and Zengcheng city) will be issued by the Guangzhou municipal government.

As the plan to remove motorcycles completely from Guangzhou streets progresses, the Bureau of Public Security is advising commuters not to buy them, but to use public transport instead.
