Guangzhou Police Detain 700

Yesterday, Guangzhou Police took action aimed at underground gangsters and hoodlums who usually break into shops and rob using motorcycles (motorcycle gangs).
　
Nearly all the police of Guangzhou Public Security Bureau attended the 'Night Out Against Crime'. By 8pm yesterday night, 23 thousand policemen and 49 thousand other security forces, together set up 3800 road blocks and checked over 20 thousand public places of entertainment. More than 700 suspects and 26 thousand illegal vehicles were detained as a result of this action.

　
Since Mr. Zhu Xiaodan became secretary of the Guangzhou Municipal Committee on August 18, Guangzhou Police have made investigation and study of public security a priority.
