Life of Guangzhou - "Cartoon and Animation City" Opens

China's largest underground themed business precinct, "Cartoon and Animation City" is now open for business. The precinct is equipped with the first national "interactive sensor projection system" which makes the visitors feel as if they were in a science fiction world. With Cartoon and Animation City put into service, the country's first underground business center has come into being.

Two giant leaves, with a total of 180 square meters, wave at the Entrance to the underground plaza of People's Park, interacting with the huge displayer and music, making it a fashion icon.

As the first national cartoon and animation experience-base, Cartoon and Animation City has invested RMB 600 million to develop the 32,000 square meter area. It was also the first theme precinct to acquire underground property rights.

It is learned that with the Cartoon and Animation City putting into service, a business tunnel staring at the People's Park, through Zhongshanwu Road, Daxiao Mazhan Road and Xihu Road to the underground of Mingsheng Plaza would come into being. The tunnel connects Cartoon and Animation City, Grandbuy, the new wings of Grandbuy, Xindaxin Store and the Mayflower Business City with the metro line at Gongyuanqian Station.
