Registration Begins For Cross-Pearl-River Swimming

Guangzhou is in preparations for the Cross Pearl River Swimming Campaign. Different districts are using their own unique strategy to attract volunteers.

Panyu district government announced that the vice magistrate would lead the district representatives in the swim across the River. Luogang is reportedly to be drafting its own swimming proposal. It is expected to purchase insurance for participants representing the district. Liwan district began registration on June 8 and has already drawn over 100 applicants, and will feature two specially selected children under the age of five.
