Guangdong Hydropower Wins 1.3B Yuan Of Projects

Guangdong No.2 Hydropower Engineering won a 1.3 billion yuan contract from the Shantou government in Guangdong province to strengthen six emergency dikes, reports Shanghai Securities News, citing a company filing.

GD Hydro will contribute 874 million yuan of the total investment of 1.3 billion yuan. Each of the six projects will take three years to construct.

The Shantou government gave a committment to repurchase the completed projects seven years after the delivery date.

In addition, GD Hydro signed five engineering projects with the Longhu district and Jinping district of Shantou city. The value of the five projects is equivalent to 8.66 percent of GD Hydro’s 2009 total revenue.
