Although only 21, Zhu Yan has the appearance of a woman in her 60s because of a rare skin disease.

Zhu's hands of a 21-year-old. Zhu, from Meizhou City, Guangdong Province, contracted urticaria four years ago. She took medication from various doctors. But the skin of her face started to become loose and wrinkled two years ago. She has been mistaken as her grandmother when she and her mother have gone out together. She was forced to give up attending university in 2006 because of her appearance. A Shenzhen hospital recently offered her free treatment.
